HyperTerminal is no longer part of Windows. Users of windows Vista and Windows 7 can use Hyperterminal private edition or Indigo terminal emulator as an alternate for Hyper Terminal.

Enable Windows 7 sidebar
If the UAC is disabled, there are so many ways to enable or disable the windows 7 sidebar gadgets. Below is the one of the way to do it.
1. Open registry editor in your PC.
2. Explore to this registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Sidebar\"
3. Look for "Settings" sub key. If it is not exists, create a sub key with the name "Settings".
4. Now Click on Settings, go to the right pane and create a new DWORD of 32 bit value and name AllowElevatedProcess. Set the value to 1.
5. It will enable the gadget option for you.
6. To disable the gadget, you just set the value to 0.

How to login windows 7 without password
1. Go to Run window, type netplwiz.exe
2. It will open the user account window.
3. Uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer".
4. Enter the password twice to confirm this action.
5. Now your OS is ready to login without asking the password.
